Crash Games

Crash is the simplest real-money game ever built. A multiplier climbs from 1.00x. You press cash out. If you press before it busts, you keep your stake times the multiplier. If you do not, you lose the stake. One decision, no paytable, no bonus round.

The 18 titles

Aviator from Spribe is the game that started the category and still has the largest live player count. Spaceman is Pragmatic Play’s answer with a slower curve. High Flyer, Pilot Chicken and Copinho are variants with different bust distributions. The rest — Dice, Goal, Hi Lo, Mini Roulette, Hotline — are instant-win games that share the crash lobby.

Provably fair, and what that means

Before each round the server publishes a hashed seed. You can add your own client seed. After the round the server reveals the original seed, and you can verify that the hash matches and that the bust point was fixed before anyone placed a bet. It is the one category where you can check the result rather than trust it.

Verification is in the game menu under “Provably fair” or “Fairness”. It takes about thirty seconds and is worth doing once so you know how it works.

The maths nobody mentions

A typical crash game busts below 2.00x roughly half the time. Cashing out at 1.50x wins often and pays little; holding for 10x wins about one round in ten and pays a lot. Both strategies converge on the same expected return because the house edge is baked into the bust distribution, not into your exit point. What changes is variance — how wild the ride is between here and there.

  • Auto cash-out removes the reflex problem and the temptation to hold “just a bit longer”.
  • Two-bet mode lets you bank one stake early and run the other long.
  • Martingale does not work here. Doubling after a loss hits the table limit long before it hits a win, and the limit is where the strategy dies.

Crash game questions

Can I predict when it crashes?

No. The bust point is generated and committed before the round opens, and past rounds carry no information about the next one.

What is the highest multiplier seen?

Aviator has recorded rounds above 10,000x. They are vanishingly rare and nobody holds for them deliberately.

Is auto cash-out better?

It is more consistent, because it removes human reaction time. It does not change the expected return.

Can I bet twice in one round?

Yes — most crash games support two simultaneous bets with independent cash-out points.
