Table games have the lowest house edge in any casino — if you pick the right bets. The same table can offer you a 1% proposition and a 14% one side by side, and the 14% one is always the more exciting-looking of the two. This page is about telling them apart.

Baccarat
Two hands are dealt — Player and Banker — and you bet on which gets closer to nine. You make no decisions after the bet; drawing is governed by a fixed table rule. Banker wins slightly more often, which is why it carries a 5% commission and still has the better edge.
The roadmaps on the table record past results. They are a record, not a signal. The shoe has no memory, and every system built on reading them has the same expected value as betting at random.
Blackjack
The only game where your decisions change the maths. Basic strategy — a chart telling you whether to hit, stand, double or split for every combination of your hand and the dealer’s up card — cuts the house edge to about half a per cent. Playing by instinct instead costs roughly 2%, which is four times as much.
Always check two rules before sitting: whether blackjack pays 3:2 or 6:5, and whether the dealer stands on soft 17. A 6:5 table costs you about 1.4% extra — more than the entire edge of a good table.
Roulette
Check the wheel, every time. Single zero: 2.70% edge. Double zero: 5.26%. The layouts look nearly identical and the difference is the single most expensive detail in the casino. We run single-zero wheels by default.
Every bet on a single-zero wheel has the same house edge. Straight-up on one number and red/black are mathematically identical propositions with wildly different variance. Pick the variance you want; the cost is the same either way.
Sic bo
Three dice, a wide betting grid, and an edge that ranges from 2.78% to over 16% depending on where you place your chips. Big and Small are the good bets. Specific triples pay 180:1 and carry the worst edge on the floor.

Table game questions
Which table game is best for a beginner?
Baccarat. There are no decisions after the bet, so you cannot play it wrong, and the Banker bet has an excellent edge.
Does card counting work online?
Not on live-streamed tables — the shoe is shuffled frequently and penetration is deliberately shallow. On RNG tables the deck resets every hand.
Is the Tie bet ever worth it?
No. A 14.4% edge is worse than almost any slot.
Do betting systems work?
No. Martingale, Fibonacci and the rest change the shape of your results, never the expected value. The table limit is where every one of them breaks.
